Alice In Wonderland Awesomeness

On Saturday three weeks of organization and planning in between work breaks reached fruition in the form of the Alice In Wonderland Photo Shoot, wherein friends and artists gathered together to dress with a little madness and wander around the streets of Chilliwack.

The clothing consists of pieces created and / or altered by Macey Faulkner. She did an amazing job -- she managed to translate the nonsensical, undefined ideas I had in my head into beautiful, clear works of fashion.

The make up for the March Hare, Caterpillar, Alice and the Cheshire Cat was done by the talented Kaila Alexander, who also played Alice. The hair and makeup for all the other characters was created by Amy Van Wormer. The headpiece seen on The Flower was sewn by Amy Nieto, and arrived on my doorstep a day before shooting. Crystal McHargue was our Assistant Director, mindfully tapping her watch to keep us on schedule, organizing, and keeping me from losing my mind. Derek "Muscles" Neudorf assisted in carrying around armchairs and dollhouses through the woods.
